Well another fantastic visit . What more can I say? Must be the best steak and chips I have had outside or Argentina. This time I was treated to a behind the scenes tour and a visit to the kitchen where all the magic happens. Among the usual utensils I viewed an amazing collection of kitchen knives . Ask to... I visited 303 Eaterie on a cold December afternoon with my mother. A husband and wife (I presume) team up to make the cafe styled restaurant. As per usual our trip to 303 was purely based on glowing trip advisor reviews otherwise we would have driven past the London Road South Cafe. The food was good and mostly home cooked.... More

Visited here with my family, amazingly tasty food and very good price. Would definitely recommend you pop in and try for yourself. Caroline was really friendly and welcoming. Her and Charlie do a fantastic job

Popped in for lunch on a cold Saturday afternoon to a warm welcome. The food was freshly cooked and very tasty, and the home cooked chips were sublime! Definitely going back here to try out the breakfast :)

Reviewed 303 some years ago and as we still go there regularly thought it time to renew it. The food is still super in quality and in price. I head for kippers for sunday breakfast and am never disappointed. For evening meals, steak, lamb chops and burgers are my current favourites, but there is nothing to dislike. Intimate, friendly and... More

Introduced to this lovely husband and wife run restaurant. Him in the kitchen, she front of house. Great food, freshly cooked and served with a smile. Regular menu with 'board' specials. All reasonably priced. Not licensed so take your own wine. They charge you just the £2 for the privilege Well worth a visit..

I only found this place as I was staying in the delightful ensuite Airbnb room the owners offer. I ate here both nights. Delicious food and extremely good value. No liquor licence so BYOB (there's a Co-op nearby) and pay a very reasonable corkage fee. Moussaka was tasty and Eton Mess delicious yesterday, but this evening's cheesy toast with garlic... More

Very friendly owners, beautifully cooked fresh quality food. We would return however, we were the only ones in the restaurant so it lacked atmosphere. Possibly better for lunch than dinner.

Enjoyable meal in friendly surroundings, with great home-cooked food. A must visit establishment on our annual pilgrimage to the town.

We returned again for kippers (lunch). Still much as before: good, reliable, simple food, beautifully presented. This is a small, friendly, unpretentious cafe-restaurant that offers excellent value not far from the south beach (excellent sand) and numerous guest houses and b&bs in south Lowestoft and Pakefield. There is a bus stop almost outside where buses from Southwold, Beccles and Norwich... More
