The food was inexpensive but nothing special. My sticky toffee pudding was inedible. Would not rush back.

recently refurbished to a good standard, food particularly good, free parking, ideal for Cartmel races which was the purpose of our visit, already booked again for July
only had one pint and a coffe for the wife but was a nice pub with good atmosphere and i heard landlord offering to keep restaurant open for someone to order food who had arrived a bit late which i thought was a nice touch
