We came here for Sunday dinners. The portion sizes were really good and the staff were really helpful. Good atmosphere in the pub and very relaxing, could quite easily stay in there all day. My dinner was nice however the vegetables were slightly too hard, my partners dinner was also nice however the meat was slightly over cooked. My partner... More

We have been a few times for food before and this was our second overnight stay while visiting family. Dog friendly, we were given a great room adjacent to the main building. Great for walking the dog at night and early morning. Excellent menu, lots of vegetarian and gluten free options.

Lovely Easter Sunday lunch with the family. Meat and veg perfect, yorkshires could be slightly softer if I'm being picky, a little more gravy was needed but I'm sure they would have no problem bringing that had I asked. Bettina is the most lovely waitress there! They are all nice but she is always very friendly and lovely with the... More

We come here a lot and we love it! My husband's favourite is the Brewer’s rib of beef and pulled pork and I love the burgers and fish and chips/scampi. The portions are a good size and rightly priced for the food we get. We often go late afternoon to have lunch/dinner in one. Only criticism is sometimes if it's... More

Had a lovely good friday late lunch here, it was very busy, but myself and my husband were given a table swiftly. Although the wait for food was about 35mins, the waitress covering our area of the restaurant (julie) was so pleasant, and worked her socks off, keeping everyone happy, making sure we were okay for drinks while we waited,... Came here a few weeks ago for Sunday Lunch and it was beautiful. We were thinking of places to go and I remembered going here as a child but hadn't been since. I had a bubble & squeak starter and a beef dinner and my parter had pate and a lamb shank dinner. We both enjoyed all of our food... More

The food was lovely and the server really polite, but could've been better. We got there just before midday, so before serving had started but they'd ran out of onion rings. A bit disappointed but no big deal. I was however very confused when the table next to us has onion rings on their meals. We were almost finished our... More

Second time we have visited for Sunday lunch, this time with family with us. For food, we ordered a pork roast, lamb roast (from the Sunday specials menu) nut Wellington and the three meat roast. Food was very good, each of us clearing our plates - the lamb especially was cooked to perfection and fell off the bone. For desert... More
