The service was amazing, being served by two very smiley ladies , amber and Emily. Also with very delightful food by the great chef carol who runs such a beautiful place.

We visited Fowey on Saturday of the Easter weekend and having sat in one tea shop for 15 minutes without being served and turned away at another as they were no longer serving food we then stumbled across the Lugger Inn. Whilst from the outside, this pub was not our first choice however we were pleasantly surprised at how good... More

Set back a little from the quayside and so away from the real crowds, but what a gem. I had the fish stew that would give the one I had at that place in Padstow last year a run for its money.

The Inn was full, but the staff managed to find us a table. Surf and turf in a garlic sauce was a good choice. Large portion, accompanied by chips and salad. Good choice of wines and beer. Slightly dated decor, but it adds to the character of the inn. Meal for 4, with drinks very reasonable prices.

We went there for a dinner and the food was lovely, if you love fish try the fish stew is huge and delicious. The only downside of our experience was a rude lady on the bar. It seems that she is not a foreigner friendly woman, with the rest of the local customers she was friendly.

Called in for a bite to eat. Good menu for local pub. Good prices and when the plates arrived the portions were enormous. I had the steak and kidney pie, chips and peas. Kidneys very tasty, steak little fatty in places. Friendly staff. Will definitely return.

Excellent food and great beer from a pub on the high street in Fowey. Portions are above average for a really good price. I have been here a few time and the atmospher is great. There is also a few seats outside so you can people watch

We ate here for dinner and had a really nice meal. It was through the week and well and truly in the off season so the pub was dead. I had the fish and chips which was an absolute whopper and I failed to clear the huge plate of fish, chips, coleslaw and mushy peas. I had a pint of... More

A great little pub with a limited menu, but the lugger is more about last minute eating than somewhere you would book to eat. Good ambiance but staff could take some lessons in Customer Service after all a smile costs nothing!

We stayed in Fowey for several nights and gave this unassuming pub a try for dinner on our last night having read some reviews on TripAdvisor. We are glad we did. The food is well presented, freshly prepared and servings are large. The pub itself is basic inside but warm and friendly. If you're looking for good quality pub food... More
