I have visited twice now, and will go again when next in Dereham. The place is small but spotless, you can see clearly into the kitchen, and it is usually pretty full. The menu is as most small cafés, but the quality of the food is excellent, we had cod and chips and it was some of the best we've ever had, not greasy, fresh cooked and a big portion. The staff are friendly and helpful, when we arrived there were only small tables left, not that it put us off, we ordered (at the table, no queues) and when the waitress arrived with our food she took us to a larger table that had cleared while we waited. She was friendly, and very well presented. All in all, excellent, fabulous, and I highly recommend it.

I have been here a total of 4 times now and it is now my favourite place to go for a full English and I am fussy, the waitress is so polite and upon my second visit she remembered my whole order including extras!!! You can’t train this kind of service and attention to detail so if you’re after a comfy lil cafe with good food and very reasonable prices this is the place for you. Thank you Norfolk Kitchen. We will be back again and again.

my dad and i absolutely love this cafe.service is lightning quick and served by the lovely becky.we usually have egg,bacon and chips which is very tasty with fantastic chips. Very nice cuppa too! We look forward to coming here everytime we visit dereham.highly recommended frederick and tina from gorleston/southtown (father and daughter )

Well my daughter and myself had the misfortune to have lunch at this Cafe today was very shabby. The Sullan waitress took our order after me asking whether I could possibly have a small portion of chips. No only large then to hear the cook say to her, I haven’t got f++king time to sort that out, I went to the counter and asked the sullan waitress whether that comment was meant for us. She said no that’s my father and we were talking about someone else so it looks like maybe they talk about all their customers like that apart from the yokels that go there every day . The reason I gave one star was because the chips were very nice, but the rest of it I would not recommend this cafe to anybody

Great to be back for a lovely lunch today after such a long break for lockdown. As usual spotlessly clean with all COVID safety measures in place . Can’t fault the service or the food. Everything freshly prepared in a timely manner. In all the years we have been going here we have never had a bad meal, would definitely recommend.

Dropped into this Cafe with my 2 grown up daughters and was starving as we had driven from London....Lovely cosy cafe yes...busy yes....Polite staff yes we found a seat and began ordering.....No Hash browns.."we don't sell them" (we were offered chips) No Mushrooms, again "we don't sell them" No Tinned Tomatoes....Sorry we don't sell them? Really I thought all Cafe's sold these "extras" anyway we had their breakfast which was very nice to be fair and a nice cuppa tea....with some tiny little improvements this could be the best cafe in Dereham..

A great meal today. Portions were generous and the service was quick and friendly. The tables were spotless and we noticed the areas were cleaned after each visitor left. Thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable lunch.

Very COVID secure, felt safe and staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Food was lovely, tasty and piping hot. Would definitely visit again

Traditional little cafe, with truly lovely staff. Nostalgic like a cafe I remember growing up. Chips and other food brilliant. What more can I say. Great service with a smile!
