We went from the local stroke club having pre-ordered and were not impressed. The food took nearly 50 minutes to be served and when it arrived was nothing to write home about. Some of the party ordered ham egg and chips, the ham was wafer thin, the cottage pie just mash with some mashed potato shoved on top. I had... More

The Pillar is a local pub that caters for both people popping in for drinks (bar area that has three screens for sports matches & two pool tables) and also people wanting to go out for a pub meal (quite a big lounge area). Staff are always efficient and friendly. The food menu changes from time to time, offers a... More

Party of 10 eating at lunch seriously disappointed. The best thing about most of the meals were the chips. Veggie wrap was soggy and tasteless, fish was grey and stale inside the coating. The veggie burger ,nachos and chicken salad were acceptable. The puddings rated the best. Menu is not expensive but something edible would be welcome. Beer was well... More

Staff are very pleasant and prices are sensible enough. That aside the menu is interesting in itself. It's just pub grub and nothing more than that. To be fair one main meal was returned due to fatty meat and that was exchanged for the pie with no quibble.

The carvery here is allways piping hot and great value. There is a choice of gammon, turkey or beef and plenty of vegetables with a very tasty gravy. It is worth booking as it can be very busy and there is limited space to dine! It's the best carvery in the Droitwich area!

This pub is always friendly and welcoming. Though it is now in need of a bit of refurbishment. The food was nice, as it always is , which us why we return.

I've eaten at the Pillar quite a few times off and on over the last few years, have eaten there for an easy dinner out three times over the last 6 or 7 weeks and my girlfriend has separately been another 2 or 3 times in that period (all have been family meals out). Each time everybody has enjoyed their... More

Pub grub. Fast service. Foods what you'd expect from a pub chain. Staff are always nice and helpful. Good wheelchair access.
