Popped in for lunch, having been a couple of times in the past. We both opted for the 'fish dish of the day', which happened to be fisherman's pie - good choice! Absolutely excellent - very tasty, piping hot, served with French beans and kale. We couldn't resist the puddings - sticky toffee pudding for him and bread and butter... More

What a relief to go to a pub without pretensions that serves really good pub food. Nothing flashy, just a warm welcome, excellent service and a great evening. I have to confess that I like Haggis with the traditional neaps, clapshott and a drop of whisky. So I tried the haggis fritters albeit with some trepidation. The oatmeal on the... More

The b&b we are sleeping in advised us to eat here. It's not visible from the road, but a big yellow sign is at the end of the driveway. Staff was helpful and kind. They have a good selection of tap beer. The food was amazing.

Popped in for lunch, mid way through a long hill walk. The welcome (is that the right word) was rather officious for the location and style of restaurant. Restaurant itself is a little quirky in style - catering for a range of customers. Food was great particularly the accompanying chunky skin on chips. Overall well worth a visit.

The wonderful staff here turned a nightmare into a lovely experience. I had a bad start to the day leaving my bag with all my toddler's spare clothes by the front door at home, then felt a wave of optimism that she would use a toilet and left her potty in the car. We arrived at the inn by bike... More

I must have passed this place a hundred times so for once I decided to try it out....... not to bad a find. It has a great feel to it as you walk up the path and head inside. It was busy but not overly busy and only had soup and salmon sandwich........ great service and the food was good... More

Popped in here twice for coffee and lunch. The Inn is a lovely bar in a great area of Scotland. Food is lovely, high quality at a reasonable price. The staff were nice and friendly on both visits. Not intrusive but easy to get attention when required. Will be returning next time when in the area.

We found this amazing pub by chance. It looks like it was a large cottage years ago with beamed roof inside and stone walls. It is cosy with character inside. A great choice of drinks including ale from the micro brewery. It is also known as a gastro pub. The menu is small but the food is outstanding with local... More

Stopped for lunch. Service was friendly and the place was quite charming. Food wasn't as good as would have hoped though compared to other cheaper restaurants in the area.
