Lovely wee place and great 'home cooked' food with a menu that suits everyone . Fantastic that they let you sample the real ale before you try and their well stocked real ale shop is a bonus. Friendly staff and the service is really good. Love an inn like this where you get great craik and banter from the staff.... More

We love this place and travel about 30 miles as often as we can to go there. The food is always beautiful, we are never disappointed. Traditional scottish pub/restaurant with log fire and very friendly staff, especially Robert. Very reasonable prices also. We went in search of snow on New Year's Day and stubbled across this little gem for lunch. The first thing we noticed was the friendly greeting. The service was prompt and the menu has a distinct local produce influence. We had a mixture of dishes from fantastic soup with home made roll to fish, pastas. Beer variety is fantastic... More

Had a great meal here recently sitting next to lovely warm log fire. Can recommend the Haggis ball starter and the 'big yin' burger certainly is, and very tasty. Home made choc truffles served with the coffee are amazing.
