Good food. Nice atmosphere. Its like a large conservatory in feel, plenty of space between the tables. Old fashioned French tunes playing in the background. Good service from our waiter from the Vendee and others. Around three quarters full with 20 to 30 people on a Wednesday night. We had the Camembert starter. There were three different fish dishes on... More

Best meal yet in Le Blaireau, the French themed restaurant that is part of the Careys Manor and SenSpa hotel. Attentive, friendly service from the team and the two fish specials with Mediterranean vegetables were very tasty. Some rather good desserts too!

The quality of food and service were excellent. Richard was a genial front of house and the chef produced the best dish of Jersey royal potatoes I have ever eaten. If they can get the simple things right it gives you an idea of the standard. Go enjoy.

Captured the rural French theme perfectly - there's even a Citron 2CV in the entrance from the attached hotel (Careys Manor)! Very friendly staff, great timely service and absolutely delicious food. I've only visited once and so can only comment on what I had - could not fault my steak.

Consistently good service and food. Nothing is too much trouble! Richard and his staff are all excellent. Very authentic French food in a French ambience. Very good for couples and groups. Can highly recommend! We are regular visitors and never had a bad meal.

Very French menu but changes seasonally. Staff accommodating and friendly. Decor is dated but the French 'street' is quaint and has amusing decorations throughout. Could do with a 'face-lift' but nice to sit in windows in summer evenings. Food reliably good, not overly fancy but well-planned dishes and reasonably priced. Never had a disappointing meal here. Food locally sourced or... More

A lovely quirky restaurant which is a re-creation of a French village. We really enjoyed the decor and ambience - it was lovely to pretend we were really in France. The service was good and the wine enjoyable but the food was average and to be honest a little disappointing. Worth a visit just for the atmosphere.

If you are looking for typical French Cuisine then this is where to come in this area near the Lymington Ferry Terminal. Every aspect of the menu was good as were the wines available. We all chose steaks which were cooked as requested and the service was both efficient, pleasant and with a cute smile. I can even forgive them... More
