Friendly restaurant, good for families. Service quite slow. Food was good but not great. Had to go and ask for the dessert meal and the bill, as no one came to check whether any of the people had finished their main course

Great location next to the river Dee. Also great choice of gins. The menu is short and to the point making it easy to choose. What an excellent sirloin steak and very very good Thai chicken curry. Even served to me by a Thai! Service was good even on a busy evening

No frills welcoming pub/restaurant with a nice fire to lend extra atmosphere. Food was first class and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Lemon sole was particularly appreciated by two of our company. But for me it was the best sticky toffee pudding I've ever tasted. ☺

We dropped in past on a Sunday evening to find the restaurant half full busy. The atmosphere was good with a mix of tourists, families, and a small party. The decor is pleasant and the staff are friendly. Food was good and reasonably priced. Nothing remarkable but certainly nothing to criticise either.

I booked a meal for 12 at the Boat Inn for my mum's 70th birthday. The staff were brilliant, putting up decorations I had taken in earlier and couldn't do enough for us. Staff were very attentive and the food was great as usual. I would recommend the Thai green curry and the haddock and fries. Atmosphere is good too,... More

When you first walk in, you are met by friendly staff with smiles on their faces! Very warm and tastefully decorated. The food was excellent, never before have I had such fresh fish and delicious chips and I have my suspicions the haddock was taking a course of steroids before it met its grizzly death! The rooms very warm and... More

My husband and I called in here after an early morning hike, I loved the sign that said muddy boots, kids and dogs welcome. However I didn't feel totally comfy in my (not so muddy) boots. Felt like I should've made a bit of an effort. There was a large party in when we arrived but no one else. We... More
