Went with the better half, our first visit and was recommended to us from a family member. Booked a table for 8, glad we did as although wasn't bursting at the seams at that time was still 80% full . We both ordered steak was beautifully cooked reasonably priced I prefer thick chips to fries but nonetheless a good meal... More

Went as a group of 7 for Saturday evening. All the food was very tasty and well presented, especially the crab and avocado mousse starter, house bacon and cheese burger, and artisan pie. The food prices were quite reasonable but the drinks were on the pricey side. Nicely decorated room and furnishings and very pleasant staff. Easy parking (free after... More

First time we've been for a few years as it has been quite average recently, but delighted to find that under new management it was great food, service and ambience. Also great vegan options if you have any vegans or veggies in your party. Had a great night - thanks!

We thought we would give this place a try due to overwhelmingly good reviews,my wife ordered the turkey roast and I ordered the beef roast, the food duly arrived and whilst my beef was nicely presented if slightly lacking in support from the vegetables ,my wife was forced to organise a search party for the elusive turkey - we did eventually... First visit, nice comfortable sofas at the front of the pub, great view of the harbour from the light and airy dinning area at the back. (Already planning a lunchtime visit in better weather to sit in the garden and try the bar snacks) Excellent freshly cooked food, I had the pie of the day; an individual handmade steak and... More

Had lunch at the Nothe Tavern and was very impressed. The bar/restaurant area is light and airy and cleverly creates a pleasant open experience. The lunchtime menu is well thought out and quantities are just right for lunch. In addition parking is conveniently across the road. Definitely worth a try particularly if visiting the Nothe Fort.

Spotted the pub from the harbour and decided to try it for dinner. Sat at table 8, which would have great views in the day time. Sean was our waiter who was very friendly and accommodating. Which made the evening even nicer. Food was good and reasonably priced. We will go back again.
