After visiting Taybarns in the past, I know it has never been high quality food. However, on my last visit. All the food tasted of nothing!! There was no flavour to any of the dishes and with such a wide variety it was tremendously disappointing....More
You pay for what you get ... the food is okay and hot (sometimes a little dry from being under the heat lamps ). The deserts are very good. The noise from some tables is very loud and off putting.
This is now a refurbishment site. Great for visitors planning on arriving late 2016 - but if you made the mistake of booking into the adjacent Premier inn - then you will be disappointed and hungry.
Like all buffets ait was a bit hectic. but the food was well cooked and hot. good choices of dishes and constantly filled up. lemon cheesecake with a few extra profiteroles finished the meal. prices were excellent value.
Despite the food being ok, this Taybarns was only a couple of weeks away from being refurbished and reopening as a Brewers Fayre. Dirty worn out carpets and sticky tables.
