Visited for lunch early Sept 2017. The food was okay but not great and it is overpriced. I know things are a little more expensive in the lakes but they charging too much.

The fish & chips from here are very good although choice doesn't match the menu - we could only choose from cod despite the fact there were other fishes on the menu. Taste was good & was very convenient to Fallbarrow Park where we stayed.
Opposite the Beatrix Potter experience on Rayrigg Road, a welcome feed on a busy day. Cooking excellent, chips about as good as you can get and the fish and batter melt in the mouth.
