Fantastic food, the fish finger sandwich is brilliant made with fresh fish. Thai muscles again brilliant. Staff fantastic. Dog friendly top section of the bar. Brilliant restaurant well worth a visit.

32 of us came here the night before our wedding. The food was fabulous, the ambience was fantastic and the staff were lovely.we have been here before and each time we have enjoyed it.

It was fine for lunch at the beginning of November, and they were serving a large group in a separate room at the time, as well as quite a few tables in the main room.

The Village Inn is one of Bowness-on-Windermere's most popular bars, situated just seconds from the shores of Lake Windermere and is open daily from 10am until late, serving fresh, locally sourced produce, with homemade pasta dishes and creations from the grill, a speciality.
