A lovely welcoming atmosphere, lovely cakes and dog friendly! Perfect retreat from a rainy day in the lakes! Thank you, we would return if back in the area.

I had a Beautiful Lancashire hotpot made by a fantastic chef and served by two very lovely assistants My only criticism is on a personal level that I don't go here often enough and I really should do

A lovely little cafe. Serves gorgeous sandwiches which comes with salad, homemade coleslaw and Dorito type crisps. We also had tea for two which is served in a lovely traditional tea pot.

Having a few hours to kill in Bowness on a Monday lunchtime we looked for somewhere away from the busy main street we found this little beauty almost next door to the post office. Staff very friendly and all we could wish for a ;'ight bite'

Very friendly tearoom with excellent food and very good value for money. We had the sandwiches which were well filled and came with lovely homemade coleslaw, salad & crisps. The tea was served in bone china cups which was a treat.

Found this lovely place tucked away from all the hustle and bustle ! Lovely food , staff and atmosphere . Will definitely be back . My husband particularly liked the warm Cumbrian fruit loaf as recommended by the chef .

Wow what a lovely little tearoom. My husband chooses scones wherever we go and has declared these to be the best he's ever had. The cherry jam is a delight. Prompt service with a smile. Wish we lived nearer.

Scones were lovely, warm and fresh, homemade jam was wonderful - however sign said clotted cream, the cream was more like whipped double - if you are expecting traditional clotted cream you will be disappointed.
