A nice, traditional pub with a friendly atmosphere. A little dark, but it is an old historic building so perhaps this is to be expected. We found the range of stuffed animals of display a little off putting however!

Second visit here and as enjoyable as the first. Great selection of cask beer, cosy surroundings, log fires, friendly staff and a live band in the beer garden - all in mid afternoon on a Saturday. Excellent.
