We visited the tea room while waiting for the attraction to open. My husband and I enjoyed a cream tea, which was delightful. Kids love it here, clean but can get very busy. Alright for snacks and to rest after seeing the main attraction.

Lots of cake options but a bit steep for sandwiches etc - lots of local deli's around with more selection. Good for children, well situated for the end of the Beatrix Potter experience.

Very good homemade food. We enjoyed a good quality afternoon tea selection and the children had the children's basket with sandwiches, juice, crisps and fruit. It was an excellent end to our visit to the museum. The staff were very helpful. The whole experience exceeded our expectations.

the food was decent, we had afternoon tea, soup and chips between us, plus a kids meal. overall the food was tasty, fairly sensibly priced. was surprised (but not disappointed) to see that alcohol was available. There were 3 tables that mentioned that they were still waiting for soup... which you would think would come out swiftly. Generally the staff... More

OK is you are visiting the attraction, reasonably priced with baked potatoes at £6.95 with a good side salad/crisps. Coke £1.50. Quite small so can get busy. In need of refurbishment. Lovely staff
