Stayed here with my partner for 1 night. The pub is set in an idyllic location, overlooking the valley. We arrived after 2pm so parking proved a little difficult as it's a popular venue. We ordered food prior to checking in. The service was great...More

Great stay, in a lovely location. We ate both nights that we stayed recently and the food was exceptional, service was great and nothing was overpriced while the quality was superb. I would highly recommend the place to eat. The accommodation was good too and...More

We had lunch in the bar area, the service was good and the food delicious. Lovely outside seating area but it was a bit cool today. First come first served and tends to get very busy.

Given a recommendation from our landlady. A fabulous country pub in the Lakes. Spectacular views across the valley and a great view of Windermere on the way up. Typical pub food reasonably priced. Friendly and families welcome. Even dogs! Will be back!

Beautiful old pub (and equally beautiful drive to get to it)..Perched on a hill overlooking vast green fields with fatted sheep all over the place...on a good day there are outside tables which prove very popular...if you aren't there by noon your chances of nabbing...More

Felt like a greasy caff. Really gone downhill. Staff poor and rough with tats and unhelpful attitude.

Called in for our twice a year treat of raspberry beer at the wonderful Masons Arms. A little disappointed to be honest! Tired look inside, scruffy and bar staff disinterested. Come on I am sure you can do better than this!!!!
