Fantastic food, great atmosphere and a wonderful view!! This pub is a must when visiting Windermere. The menu is filled with a brilliant selection of home cooked food and the bar is stocked with great beers. You can even pick up a wooden walking stick or a pot of jam during your visit. Can't wait to return.

This was our eighth visit to The Masons Arms. We love the Winster Valley and were lucky enough to have 4 days of lovely sunny weather. We had the Cartmel Fell Suite at £100 per night and it was perfect as we also had Stanley the dog with us. Food and service were excellent, and very good value for money.... More

A favourite of ours - comprehensive menu plus a Specials Board - cheery staff, delicious food and liquids! Wonderful scenic views, especially en route over Gummers How. Very busy inside and out which is always a good sign.

Been here plenty of times and can highly recommend it. Lovely food in a fantastic setting, sat outdoors under the heaters with an amazing view a very relaxing way to spend the evening with friends we didn't want to leave. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and the service is great every time we've been here, Josh in particular... More

I've eaten here on several occasions - quite a trip from where I live, but always worth the journey. The menu changes regularly, which makes it even more interesting.

Beautiful surroundings, charming old English pub with fantastic Lake District views. Even the drive getting there is exciting as this is a tucked away find. Staff faultless and really try hard. Great looking menu verging on being a Gastro pub good atmosphere, definately a place for those with money judging by the cars in the car park, not your usual... More

I went here as part of a large family group (10 adults) who were staying in the area to celebrate my mum and dad's anniversary. We were welcomed and quickly shown to our table where orders for drinks were taken. There was a lot of choice on the menu and something to suit all our tastes and appetites. Everything was... More
