Called with my wife earlier this week and managed to get a table outside in the sunshine, we had coffees and a cream scones and they went down a treat, the staff were very friendly and polite, we will certainly look to go back again in the future.

I decided to go in here on a fast lunch break whilst meeting someone, really impressed. Lots of snacks and light lunches, Jackets were very good and the coffee actually tastes like coffee. The best bit? The staff are friendly and polite, brightens the day to be honest, and it's independent, so don't go to chains - support this local... More

2 days prior to an expected visit, I specifically called in to ask if it was ok to bring a pram in, I was told "yes of course" so myself, sister, daughter & 3 month old grandaughter turned up today, 10/5/16 there were only 3 or 4 tables occupied, my daughter & I entered looked around trying to decide where... Diggles have excellent pies and sausage rolls. If you go around 4pm or 4:30 they put everything on half price!!

I've had many a great sandwich,pie and sausage roll from here,as well as prepared salads all fresh and cooked meats,great for lunches

Nothing to write home about, but just decent, good value food served by unfussy, friendly staff. I regularly go at lunchtime and have never had a bad experience. The paninis are pretty good, but I'd recommend the pie, peas, gravy and pickled onion for just over £2 and the chicken (proper chicken, not processed rubber chicken) and stuffing bun, although... My Great Aunt ages 94, thought she was doing me a favour by buying me a beef pie it diduunt look that appertizing but after one bite wouldunt of given it to a dog ! pedigree chum pie yukk
