Today I visited the Waterside Cafe with a friend. I'd been several times before as I live nearby but I won't be returning after today. I was shouted at by the chef as I dared to request a mozzarella and pesto panini without tomato. Maybe...More

Popped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon with my girlfriend. Only have good things to say about the place. The cafe was busy and food was still served quickly and it was delicious. 2nd time I have been in and I will be returning.

Located just off the Tarka Trail, I thought I'd stop here after riding to Bideford and back. Really nice food, one of the nicest burgers I've had for a very long time. Perfectly cooked chips and lovely atmosphere. Would definitely go again.

The food was lovely and the workers were very friendly. Best Saturday meal I've ever eaten. The waitress that served us, Naomi was very helpful and went the extra mile for us to make sure we had a lovely meal.

On first impression this place looked like a hidden gem amongst an Industrial estate with lovely views of the estuary. Lovely building, lovely decor, lovely menu. However, there is a distinct lack of atmosphere or warmth. We said hello upon entering and was ignored by...More

Welcome to the Waterside café. Located on the edge of the Taw-Torridge estuary you can access us via the Tarka trail if on foot or by cycle. The second entrance, if driving, is via the old stone bridge and through the Chivenour Business park. We offer delicious foods made with locally sourced produce and organic Devon roasted coffee. We cater for most dietary requirements and have seating with breath-taking views. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with the café also being dog friendly. So come visit and let us look after you!
