Just had lunch here with my Mam, corned beef pie, peas chips and gravy x 2, pie was homemade and the gravy was lovely. Frozen chips but nice ones! At £5.95 each we'll definitely be back, we're stuffed! Coffee was very nice too.

On a cold, windy day in Durham, this was just the place to be for a delicious and reasonably priced lunch. There were 6 of us and though it is always a popular and busy cafe, there was no trouble in nipping in an hour and a half before we wanted to eat & reserve a table. No problems -... More

Again we wanted to go to 'flat white' but for the second day running the queue was out the door on a very cold wet day. We found ourselves here, with a small queue as you are able to choose your table , which means sadly inconsiderate parties of two want tables for 4. I think if the owner seated... More

Had my first ever full English breakfast here. Both the food and the staff were lovely, and the atmosphere was very uinque and pleasant. One of my best experiences in Durham.

This was our second visit to Treats. The first being more than two years ago. Treats is a popular place for lunch but we didn't have to wait long for a table. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Portions are very generous and nice to get free filter coffee refills. We would definitely visit again when in Durham.

Had a breakfast there yesterday and it was great in terms of quality and taste. Never had a bad meal there ever and am surprised to read comments about staff being unfriendly as both myself and my wife would definitely not agree. We'll be back next week.

I go to Treats every Saturday with my partner and dad for breakfast and the food and service is always excellent. We are specially looked after by Angela but all the staff are very friendly and make you feel at home. We can... More
