Ate at this restaurant with colleague, staff were friendly but I thought the curry was decidedly average. The madras was quite oilly and I would say medium hot at best. Rice and peshawarny nan were very nice. Price was reasonable but the actual surroundings are more like a cafe than a restaurant.. chairs were pretty uncomfortable. There are some very... More

We visited on thur night, there were a few tables but we were seated immediately. Average island prices. Approximately £6 for starters and £10 for mains. Staff needed prompting but were nice and friendly. They were relatively efficient. Food was served quickly and was tasty. The food I would say is quite mild and the sauces are quite watery. Not... Something of a Tardis, as the front door leads to a much bigger dining area. Friendly attentive staff . Curry excellent.

Another Indian on the Island lol. The Taj Mahal is tucked away on the promenade. Me and my girlfriend went there during Manx Grand Prix and it was busy. However the restaurant was prepared for this and the results were very good. Service was very good. Food was lovely and I ordered the Lamb Bhuna with Mushroom Pilau oh and... More

This is a typical Indian restaurant. The service was quick and the food was good. The staff could be a bit more friendly. The cost compared to main land is expensive although the wine is reasonably priced. We visited at 5 pm, the restaurant was empty but was asked if we had a table booked, we found this weird.
