Lovely location, good atmosphere, nice food and good service. Hanging kebabs very nice. We all enjoyed starters and mains. Garlic bread starter is medium pizza size, so enough to share. Stuffed mushrooms on specials board and scallops very nice.

Attended again for a birthday meal and have to say the food is amazing. The restaurant was busy with all tables booked so the atmosphere was good. The fillet steak was amazing!

What a great find. We stumbled across this place a couple of months ago and have eaten here probably twice month since. The food is great and prices are good for the quality of food. My only criticism is when its busy is is very loud and sometimes they will allocate you a seat in the bar rather than the... More

Decent pub food but nothing special. Garlic bread nice. Chips average and quality of chicken could be better.

Husband and I went Sunday 9th October, he restaurant was busy and I feel we waited a little longer than what you would expect for our starters then mains. We both chose the rib-eye steak from the specials board and I I wish now I had gone for the sirloin as every forkful had fat/grissle in it. I was not... More

I had a delicious lunch today at The Toby. The starter of natural smoked haddock with wilted spinach was perfect. The sea food spaghetti was loaded with an incredible amount prawns and fish perfectly cooked. The staff are very attentive and the views of the moors are amazing.

The Toby Inn is a regular dining place for my wife and I, sometimes I've been known to call for a quiet lunch on my own when the pizza, pasta specials are available. We visited Saturday night,1st Oct. We booked a table in the bar area and commented on how busy they were. We ordered a garlic bread to accompany... More

We are a family run restaurant and pub. Beautifully located in the Broadhead Valley with panoramic views across the West Pennine Moors, we have been cooking here since 1987. We pride ourselves on the quality of our food which is made fresh everyday. Our dough is made by hand and baked daily for the freshest bread. Our meats and fish are sourced locally to ensure great flavour in their freshness.
