We called in here on our usual date night. Great range of beers and wines and a superb menu with all your usual pub classics. Good service and our meal choices where well cooked to perfection. We shall defin be back in the near future.

Went on an unplanned visit having tried to get in at another pub but it was too full so we took recommendations from Trip Advisor to come here instead. A fairly typical English pub with a fairly standard menu although there was a specials board that had things like duck. I had fish and chips with mushy peas and my... More

Always a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff and customers alike. Alex and family always make sure you feel welcome even if it's been a while since you last visited. There are often local performers playing which attracts lots of people from the village and further afield. Traditional pub food served to a high standard.

To the person at new year with bad review. You spent 6hrs at a table that was booked out for 8.00pm regardless of your £400 you spent. Money doesn't buy everything. Get a life and move on. It's a gem of a place and no rude staff. Been coming for years and love it. Keep going Alex and team x

Love this place! From booking a table and arriving to find a reserved sign next to a cosy, real fire. The staff are so lovely and helpful. 2 of us had small fish and chips and the portions were large and the food was fresh and hot. Large car park at the back, clean toilets. Plenty of tables inside, and... More

Description
We are a family run Pub & Restaurant situated in the heart of Edgworth Village, nestled in the west Pennine Moors.

The White Horse is one of Bolton's best loved & known landmarked inns, dating back to the late 1700's. It was built when the village crossroads were formed from the enclosure of Edgworth Moor in 1795.

The Inn is famous for its beautiful long bar, old beams, open fires, cosy seating and welcoming charm with a vibrate atmosphere. We take great pride in Food Quality preparing fresh to order every day. We strive to ensure that our produce is sourced as locally as possible. Our meats, fish & vegetables are delivered every day to ensure freshness of quality. Our chips are famous for being hand cut on site to make the best proper homemade chips.

Our Bar is known for its 6 Cask Conditioned Ales, bought from some of Lancashire's most popular breweries. Our knowledge on our ales ensures the customer always has a good choice to choose from our bar, suiting everyone's pallet!
