A lovely homely pub. staff all friendly and welcoming. The food was tasty although the menu didn't offer as much choice as we would have liked and perhaps some salad with the steak would have been nice

We stopped for lunch here and sat in the garden. The food and ale were very good and, judging by all the musical instruments I passed when I nipped in to use the loo, it must be a lively place on some evenings. Friendly staff...More

Visited the Grampus again while walking the coast path from Ilfracombe. Was hoping for one of their delicious cream teas with their home made scones. Sailed down on the M V Balmoral so didn't arrive before the kitchen closed at 3pm. Also the scones had...More

We know this pub well, having spent every holiday in Lee for the last 55 years! During our childhood it was a farm where we'd watch lambs and calves being born. Now the barns have been long-cleared to give way to a lovely, peaceful garden....More

Only stopped for a quick pint, white wine and 2 soft drinks for refreshment. Quaint old pub with lovely private garden with an outside table tennis table to play on. Didn't dine but food did look nice.

This was our second visit to the village of Lee and one of the reasons we came again was this little gem of a pub. The food menu is small, however the meals are tasty and the portions generous, good enough for a local evening...More

I have to say, I think some people are rather harsh in their reviews, and perhaps misjudged. For example, one contributor, on the basis of one visit, has said that the locals don't go there (because food is poor) and this is not true. I...More

From the outside, this pub looks deserted, as did the village of Lee Bay. Upon investigating the entrance is actually at the back, and pretty much everyone in the village was inside or in the garden having lunch. They were busy and there was a...More
