I had wanted to visit this restaurant for ages and eventually found a lady to go with me! She had never experienced fine dining so I was a little bit worried. I needn't have been, it was a joy to watch her face on each...More

Went with two friends for a birthday treat. We all had the taster menu which was by miles the best food we have had since living in North Devon. Well paced (allow 4 hours for this menu plus coffee) but each dish was a masterpiece...More

Wonderful food and great service - very personal attentive. Everything was perfectly cooked and we even got a sneaky set menu even though it wasn't strictly available that day. Not too fancy to serve chips, and great chips at that!

Most reviews of this restaurant seem reasonably accurate. The menus were well balanced. Fish courses especially are cooked superbly well. Wine list isn’t massive but a fair choice with reasonable prices. We enjoyed our evening and this really is a little gem of a restaurant....More

We had the 7 course set menu and each course was delicious, well cooked and beautifully presented. Super fresh fish and lovely ingredients. The restaurant itself was fine but didn’t match the quality of the food; we love a more casual restaurant but at this...More

Booked the evening at Olive Rooms and stayed the night upstairs at the Olive Branch. The food was sublime - it's a tasting menu on Friday nights which takes the drama out of wondering if you made the right choices. Each of the seven courses...More

I have been away no holiday so sorry for slow reply. I do not know if the restaurant is open then but they should be as it is a Thursday - you need to crack on and book though they get very booked up
