Have eaten here twice now, this week's visit was to celebrate my birthday - so we opted for the 7 course taster menu. Every course was delicious - 4 fish courses, 1 meat course and 2 sweet courses. Ideally we would have preferred if there...More

The food at this restaurant is simply outstanding. We chose the 7 course degustation menu and every dish was quite exquisite. Delicate and unusual combinations of ingredients beautifully presented and served by staff who are clearly 'foodies' themselves and genuinely enjoy what they are doing....More

This was simple food heaven, served by extremely knowledgeable staff, in a welcoming friendly atmosphere. The combination of delicate flavours gave each course the wow factor, no one part was over shadowed by another instead each complimented and enhanced the whole. Would I visit again,...More

Expectations for this meal were high based on its Michelin status and other reviews. We needn't have worried because the presentation, flavours and sheer magic of the food surpassed all expectations. Whilst 3 courses at £50 isn't cheap, it is excellent value for money. We...More

This is the most unassuming little place in a narrow street. Decor is simple but very pleasant and offers seating for only 16. Plenty of space for each table makes it very comfortable for a long sitting. Staff are friendly though not overly formal or...More

Just sat through seven amazing courses, and an amuse bouche, at this friendly restaurant in Ilfracombe. Every course was a masterpiece...scallops...mackerel with lobster....just a couple of the dishes that made up the taste experience. Such friendly service and relaxed atmosphere, I thoroughly recommend a visit.

Not much really needs to be said other than we both agree it was the best restaurant meal we have ever had. You won't be disappointed. At £50 per head for a three course meal I think it is very good value too. There are...More

We visited for a birthday celebration. The service was attentive but discrete. The food was well presented, delicious & reasonably priced. The celeriac soup was awesome !
