The food was amazing and tasted delicious the service was ok but the food did take a while to come, (waited 30 minutes for an apple crumble) which had way too much cinnamon on for my liking but overall the visit was average. Some members of staff were friendly others seemed like the didn't want to be there, all and... More

Ordered our food at 8pm and went to sit outside. At 8.50pm enquired how much longer our food would be and it then arrived shortly after. I ordered the mussels and they arrived with stale white sliced bread! I have never been served mussels with shop bought sliced bread. Very off putting. Our son ordered chicken wings - they were... Visited Easter Sunday lunch time, they were very busy in both the bar and terrace garden but managed to find a table inside for 5 of us. Meals took a while to come but were huge and filling.

This place gets very well reviewed so it was a natural choice for dinner when we were staying in Tenby. I first had my doubts when we saw the large menus outside, one advertising 'Todays Fish' - which clearly didn't change, ever. I tend not to trust large menus with too much choice on them. It suggests that things are... More

I had lunch there with my 14 year old and 16 year old. Food was more than I expected. My daughter and I had the 1/2,pint of prawns. It came with salad or chips but I asked if we could have 1/2 and 1/2. Didn't expect more than a few chips and salad leaves but it was a huge salad... More

The food was over priced and mediocre and the toilets sub standard. Won't Be going back. It is a shame as in a prime geographical location. Needs a real clean up, revamp, and some family friendly staff.

Sadly no scones on this visit due to popularity no doubt. Fish pie with delicious scallops and chunks of fish and prawns was the best in a long time. Ales and wine always good, and only a stroll down the beach and back make the Buccaneer a go to destination. Staff on form, happy and attentive as usual so thumbs... More

Great atmosphere all year round. Good menu and service, even when very busy. Own brewed beers worth a visit on their own!

Five of us (4 adults and a child) ate here for lunch and sat in the beer garden. The food was ok, but the portion sizes were massive and I think all of us ended up leaving food. It would be better to have lower priced smaller portions rather than see so much food go to waste. There was a... More
