Friendly personal welcome on arrival. Chose my table and had a lovely Rosé wine (bottle is reasonably priced) . Pub is very clean and well maintained, comfortable and cosy. Food choice is varied and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Friendly atmosphere from the locals and could have happily spent the evening in here. Special mention to the staff who were very... More

Staying along the road the night before an early flight from Heathrow, I decided to try the White Horse for supper. A good number of people sitting outside on a balmy late spring evening provided a lively atmosphere. Walking through the front door, bending my head as I entered the tiny bar, I was transported back in time - definitely... More

I visited whilst staying at the nearby Premier Inn. Cosy pub. Well kept beer. Warm welcome. A pleasant relief from the soulless bars of the nearby airport hotels.

The outside of the pub is lovely and I found the food really good. We sat in the Marquee and it was fine. Bars are very quaint and watch your head as you enter these!

Our family of 11 ate here before a flight early the next day. The menu is vast - including great choices for the kids. The staff were very friendly and accommodating- especially as we hadn't booked. We sat in the 'conservatory' - more of a fixed marquee - which has patio heaters and was perfectly comfortable. The food was good... More

Have dined here many times and never left disappointed. The staff are friendly and the choices on the menu are plentiful and varied. Good choice of draught beer to compliment your meal. Lovely to sit outside on a summers evening. Make sure you go hungry as the portions are huge! I have noticed they have also started to offer b&b... More

This is a fantastic little pub that I've been to on several occasions since I worked nearby in 2000. Nothing has changed about it in terms of the friendliness of the staff to the quality of the food. They serve the best chips in the world and we often go there as a family just for the chips. The drinks... More

We had spicy chicken wings and nachos to start, this would have done us but no... we being little piggies ordered the massive burgers, jesus, we had to take them away, and I congratulate the pub being able to do this for us with no problems. I'd eat here again, but not as much :)

We had dinner and drinks at this venue, the sirloin steak was something out of this world, quality and taste of the meat and the dish overall was untouchable. It's definitely worth trying.
