Massive portions, quite nice food too. But despite the traditional pub look it didn't feel as welcoming as I'd hope from a local. It's quite small, and busy so obviously popular. I don't think I would go back, as the barman took too long to acknowledge me, additionally the cooking smell floods the bar and my clothes smelt like a... More

Don't bother about starters, mains and dessert. Just have one course and the portions are huge. This is a typical pub. However I would say this if you wish to eat outside in the evenings be mindful of the mosquitos as there in abundance. I was bitten around twenty times. This Pub was within walking distance from the Accor hotel... More

This place is very olde worlde with open fires, low beams and horse brasses. The menu is traditional English ,however , the staff were predominantly Asian and the result was extremely curtious and efficient service. We had booked a table of 10 including 2 children. The order was taken, the children's meals arrived first which was great and allowed us... More

Good food and good service at a good price. Portions were ample and well presented. A bit lacking with choice of wines and no real ale. Very close to Holiday Inn for Heathrow. I recommend it but be sure to book table in advance, it's popular.

We enjoyed our drinks at the bar while waiting for our table. Very tasty food ( smoked salmon , spicy chicken wings and garlic bread ) Very filling large portions . We couldn't order our favourite mains ( chef's special lamb Shank ) and the veggie curry. As usual , Staff are very good. Highly recommended.

I was disappointed by another pub in the local area so i tried this one and pleased to say, it's a very good substitute and well worth the extra mileage to get there. It caters for all budgets and the food is always good. The wait is reasonable and there is a fairly large car park. The pub decor outside... More

When stopping overnight at Heathrow prior to flying we always eat in the local pubs, and the Plough is one of the best - don't be put off by the appearance, there's a good choice of beer, the house red is fine and the portions of food are immense with additional freshly cooked veg. The outside area is nice too.... More

Walked from Novotel took 5 minutes. Great local pub with excellent food at a reasonable price. Had the lamb chops cooked medium and they were delicious. Husband had chicken New York which he thoroughly enjoyed. Portion sizes are good and bar staff very attentive.

Food was pretty good but a little pricey. Although they tried, the bar staff really have no idea. There were cocktails advertised, but no-one there knew how to make them? Why advertise them then? For a pub that advertises ales on tap, they only had 2... Staff were very friendly.

Wanted something with more atmosphere than hotel lobby so walked here and had a giant portion of good food and a reasonably priced pint .
