We went to Brea on the recommendation of our B&B as well as TA's very positive reviews. We were glad we did! Although at first we were a bit concerned as our very young server appeared to be new and a bit nervous. He kept having us repeat our order and we would point at it on the menu to... More

Visited with friend. We had a lovely meal, the portions don't look big but the quality of the food is superb and you actually feel comfortably full after your meal. They sell thistlycross cider which I love too! So thumbs up all around. Will definitely visit again. Fantastic food.

I have visited brea a few times now. What can I say, it was a pleasure. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Food is outstanding! Brea has a lovely atmosphere and very child friendly. Which is a added bonus!! I will definitely be returning.

Our neighbours had said that the food was really good, but I have to say tonight was really a disappointment. They stated they did a gluten free option for the scallops and black pudding. For me that means a gluten free black pudding but no it means taking away the black pudding at the same price!! The white wine was... More

Hi Eve, Sorry to hear that Brea wasn't to your taste. I spoke with the supervisor who served you last night and the wine came straight from our professional wine fridge which keeps our white wine at an internationally recognised temperature of 7 degrees Celcius (family fridges chill wine too much). Black pudding is a very inexpensive element on that... More

We had a fabulous meal at the Brea, the service was impeccable. My husband had the biggest piece of Seabass I have ever seen! My meal was also very very nice, Salmon wrapped in haddock.... just delicious. We had Calamari to start which was done to perfection with homemade tartar sauce. If you're in Stirling you really must go.

Heard a lot about this place so me and my boyfriend thought we would pop along. Food was incredible! Good service and a cosy environment. Will be returning for another meal.

I came here with my friend and our sons a few months back. I had the burger and it was lovely. The service was great as well, the waitress was very attentive. Will be back for some grub in the future!

A friend and I discovered this wee place by chance, and popped in for lunch, with no real, expectations. The food was cooked freshly to order, and was very tasty. My friend wanted to have the mussels, but did not like chill is, so the dish was cooked without them. Well done! My Cullen skink was creamy and full of fish.

We stopped here for dinner after the gates of the Stirling Castle closed. Had three courses and were truly satisfied with delicious food. Very nice, quick and friendly waitresses. The food was fresh and tasty. (Fishsoup and goose cheese pancake as a starter, followed by seabass and salmon as main and delicious brownie with icecream as final) All in all... More

My partner and I had dinner at Brea last weekend. It's a lovely Scottish find in centre of Stirling that I'm so glad we stumbled across. Service was attentive without being over the top and waiter was happy to make recommendations. Wine list and drink menu were also pretty good and nice to see such a large selection sourced in...
