Staying in the village and visited for Sunday lunch and dinner in Thursday evening. On both occasions food and service was excellent and good value for money. Staff were both courteous and helpful.

Hi, Thank you for the nice comments. If your looking to stay in the area again, there is some lovely accommodation available in the village (guest houses, b&b's, cottages) within walking distance of the pub.

We arrived about 1.20 luckily found a parking space were able to order Sunday lunch of roast beef for 2 with all the trimmings. Arrived about 15 minutes later hot and plentiful. Would highly recommend Good value for £9.95 per person. Staff very friendly also...More

Away for three nights and every night we were here for our tea with our dog. Be careful as the portions are large so we both found it hard to have a main course and a desert. You have to sit in the game room...More

Handy for the campsite but the owner clearly not that keen on dogs. Having to sit in the games room to eat isn't particularly pleasant, so much so that we decided to eat elsewhere without even seeing the menu.

Yes children are welcome, there is a large family room and a separate dinning room plus a few tables in the bar. Enjoy.
