We eat at the Grove once a week. The food is high quality and fresh. The vegetables are cooked to perfection. A roast dinner for example will consist of your choice of meat. Chicken, pork, lamb or beef, roasted potatoes, cauliflower cheese, broccoli, cabbage and carrots. The lamb is a pound extra.

I am so sorry it has taken me so long to write this review but I think the fact I still remember the experience speaks for itself. I visited The Grove last year with a friend. I was looking for somewhere to show them a traditional Cafe/Restaurant. I was very happy with my experience. The Grove has all the old... More

Situated on a side road off the Marine road.Typical English tea room. Tea in a teapot and a plate of scones. You know what I mean. Good service, good food, good prices. Very popular with the older generation. Can be very busy at lunch time. To us it's a little step back in time ( the opposite to McDonalds)

I've lived in the area for over 20 years and The Grove is a place I've rarely seen open and even at times, assumed it had closed down. We decided to go in one day when we saw it open. Inside looked like an old fashioned cafe, small but cozy. It gets an extra thumbs up for a wood burning... More

My first impression of The Grove was that it was "old fashioned" and probably not great HOWEVER don't judge a book by it's cover as I actually found it to be really nice and homely. Myself and family (10 of us altogether) came here for Mothers Day, we were greeted and taken to our table to be seated, the staff... More

Two colleagues and I visited The Grove for lunch and chance to have a business chat. We got a warm welcome and the service was quick, food was freshly cooked, hot and delicious. The cafe itself is a little gem in this coastal resort and we're definately coming back to try out some other treats on the menu.
