Eggs and tea 1st class. Ham and chips yuk. Ham cooked in orange tasted foul. Chips blanched at least day before then cooked on day, full of grease. Tummy been upset all afternoon and evening so far. Management did offer money back but i declined and offered my advice. After all, it's their business to provide edible food. It's what... More

It's great to see this little place open again, my mum and I popped in for a brew and were greeted by the lovely new owners and a yummy hot chocolate 😃

Visited The Bay Crossing Café as an interval to our trip to Hest Bank and it was a real treat. After our picnic nearby we were lucky enough to try an afternoon bite - our group tried homemade cheesecake and Victoria sponge and the lady was friendly and attentive. The cafe also sells delicious local ice cream in several unique... More

This cafe is a little gem! It is spotlessly clean and the food is absoloutely delicious! We called for fish and chips to take out and they were cooked to perfection. We had fish chips and mushy peas with a free cup of tea. The service was very quick and the food was piping hot. We were provided with plastic... More

Have been to this cafe before and after the new owners, always been very overpriced for what food has served but now the food is going downhill. Had an out of date packet of crisps and carrot cake where the filling was sour tasting rather than sweet. The owner is scatty and allover the place, dosnt seem to know what... More

Very good indeed: we were just looking for a cup of tea and ended up with gammon, egg (2 x free range) and chips - very tasty with generous portions and most welcome. We will certainly bear this place in mind when in the area again. The mystery painting on the cafe wall is, as I suggested earlier to-day, Ramsbottom... More

Met the lovely owners who are very friendly and eager to please everyone. The home made deserts are delicious and must take hours to prepare. The lemon meringue pie and the chicken and tarragon pie is especially scrumptious! Dog lovers are made welcome and the owner does have two small dogs who live upstairs. They are certainly not allowed in... More

The owners are new maybe only a few weeks, they obviously do not have the standards of the previous people. It was a lovely sunny morning and we decided to stop of for "Coffee" I walked into the cafe even though it said closed on the door, a lady was vacuum cleaning, she said good morning but carried on, eventually... Really friendly well trained staff got a wonderful coffee and had the best fish and chips ever. The fish was very fresh and tasty highly recommend it. The cafe was nice and warm as was the welcome. If you find your self in the neighbourhood do go in for a coffee and a bite to eat as it is worth... More
