Met a friend for lunch as we were in the area. The staff were really friendly and attentive to our needs. The decor is beautiful. We shared a sticky platter and it was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend a visit, we'll be back for sure!

We are regulars at the Cock and Pheasant so when we needed a table for 20 for Sunday lunch for a big family get together we asked if they could accommodate us."No problem" was the reply and we didn't need to choose our food in advance. We had an area of the restaurant to ourselves.Despite the fact that it was a... We stopped here for lunch on the way to our Hotel in Bollington. Nicely decorated with a friendly feel. The barman was friendly and efficient as I placed our order and got drinks. The food arrived within a few minutes, nicely presented and plenty of it. Very tasty and obviously high quality , and fresh. Would recommend this place for... More

My friend & I visited for a late lunch on Fri 5th May around 2pm. The main rush was over & there weren't too many people in. We ordered starters & mains & chose a table. None of the tables had cutlery or the usual salt & pepper pots. Thus we simply chose a table where dirty plates weren't waiting... More

Visited a few times, the food is always high quality and fresh. Menu frequently changes, and a good selection of specials. Outside space is great for relaxing in the sun and letting the kids play on the climbing frame. A lovely pub with character and good staff.

We stopped here on the way to the Peak District. We were served by Ella who was fantastic, very friendly and gave us good recommendations for the menu. The food was lovely, my only complaint was my fish was a little too oily. My husband enjoyed the rhubarb gin and the dessert sharing platter was amazing! We would definitely return... More
