Reviewed yesterday NEW

Situated in a beautiful 15th Century house on the banks of the Conwy River this tea house serves wonderful morning teas. We enjoyed our Welsh scones with a generous pot of tea. The scones were delicious. Their main meal menu looked interesting as well and if time we may return to try it out.

Very busy, but lovely little tea room. The building is from the 15th century and it looks and feels old, really authentic, absolutely loved it. The business is probably run by a family and the service is friendly. The food and the drinks were great, I loved the soup and the toasties. We visited on a Saturday and had to... More

Looked interesting, just found a space in car park ( so obviously popular) Went inside to 'olde world charm' & antiquities everywhere! Selected a toasted ham/turkey/cranberry sarnie. What a whopper! My wife chose to have the 'house' blended tea, so impressed bought two packets of this loose tea. I visited the 'loo' upstairs & passed through the art gallery, most... More

The tea house is absolutely charming both inside and out, with superb views of the surrounding countryside, as well as being located next to the historic Llanrwst bridge and the River Conwy flowing past the house. If the weather is ideal, it is possible to just sit outside and watch the river flow past all day. If the weather is... More

Before leaving for Wales, saw a picture of this teahouse with red ivy in the fall. Never thought to look for it when there but ... after needing the Llanrwst library computers after mine failed, walked along the river and there it was ... Not only a noteworthy picture worth driving for, but a GREAT little historic restored teahouse. Wonderful... More

Firm favourite with us and no doubt many others. Always lovely food and served fresh and with a smile. Worth the 14 miles drive from home Quite difficult to get a seat inside or outside in the height of the summer That must say it all Great location too right on the river
