We were on a 50th birthday bash road trip, and had a great time..The locals were welcoming and we had a good time at Pen-y-Bryn
We have visited this pub a few times and the prices are cheaper than other places in north wales. The locals visit this pub and the staff are friendly with lots of seating available. A warm welcome awaits you when you walk in this pub....More
Strange place being redecorated so not at its best, not for families language more than colourful ! Not a nice place at all .

Typical small town pub with plenty of atmosphere, you will get a decent pint here but service is not that good when it is busy as the locals always come first and the decor could do with a major overhaul!
Good beer - guests were all local when we were there. Friendly staff and locals. The pub dog is a charming labrador too - a bit bouncy and easy to excite but still lovely. Very cheap indeed in comparison with places nearer the coast.
This is a great pub with a brilliant atmosphere. They serve a wide selection of beer and two or sometimes three real ales, a visit is highly recommended
