Please do not let my title out you off. We are from cornwall, where we like to think the fish comes from and we really have it from boat to plate in a day, so realistically wasn't expecting much bearing in mind it was empty and I had a husband with an empty stomach, our options were limited. All negatives... More

Proper fish & chip shop with sit down area at the back. Quick service with good staff and usual range of chip shop fare. Been visiting for years, consistently high standard.

Had not visited for a while, but on this occasion enjoyed large haddock and large rock - two of us, not one person. Great portions and the chips are very tasty, but the fish is fresh and very tasty. Also, the service from the waitresses is always friendly.

Noticed this place on my first day at my new office round the corner, ate there on my second day, and now planning to be a regular. This kind of place used to be common when I was growing up, but it's a rare treat to find one now (hence the five stars). Fantastic interior, traditional menu, very welcoming atmosphere... More

Great food and helpful staff!! I had the Cod fish and chips, and Banana fritter for dessert, and it was very very good! When I get the chance I'm getting back there again.

I have lived in the area for years and forever we struggle to find a good fish and chips shops anywhere near the area with most chippys serving soggy chips or soft batter, but this place truly is nothing like it! The shop is slightly hidden down a small road between the town centre and the green. It is a... More

Incredible fish and chips - probably the best chip shop i've been to. Even the apple pie and ice cream for afters was lovely. Great place for sit in fish and chips, would definitely come back again if in the area.

This place does exactly what it says on the tin. fresh cut chips, twice cooked and fresh, caught fish battered in front of you. Simple. So how can it be so delicious??? Well worth a visit in Richmond just for the retro 70's décor alone!
