The food is fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. Have eaten here on numerous occasions as my sister has a house about 10 minutes away. The terrace is lovely in the summer and the prix fixe lunch is very good value. Highly recommend.

During my recent visit to friends in this area of France, I took them for a meal at this restaurant. It had been well recommended and I have to say that it truly lived up to it's reputation. It is a lovely typically French stone building, in a lovely typically French village which has been renovated to a high standard.... More

Lunch outside on the terrace under an awning with a gentle breeze, what a pleasant setting. Two choices for each of three courses..all beautifully presented and delicious..and not expensive either. Tarte tatin with caramelised apples was a first for me and I'll be looking for it again. The restaurant looked immaculate and very inviting. Another visit is necessary just to... More

We learned about L'Ardoise from friends who had eaten there at lunchtime and who were very impressed. We have now dined there three times with friends, always at the evening and always a la carte. Outside the tables are well spaced and under a large retractible canopy. Inside the restaurant is bright and modern with no French clutter. Madame is... More

We could not of enjoyed our evening more. We were given a choice of seats outside & we chose the romantic option. We were treated so kindly & were even bought out a birthday desert for my partner! The food was superb!! Such excellent hospitality shown. You won't be disappointed .
