Come here a lot. Friendly helpful staff. Exquisite food and cosy olde worlde atmosphere with log fires and quaint low ceilings. A true country pub.

A old pub in a country village. Has a large garden area for eating out. A wide selection of beers and wines, dogs welcome.

Yes, very dog friendly, certainly in one of the bars, (where you can eat, too). But get there early on a Sunday. It fills up within minutes and they don't take bookings. You won't regret it.
