I love this place - it is old school Medellin. Named after their signature dish which had three different types of meat, you can imagine what the menu looks like. Against my better judgement, I had the pork belly (junior size) and usually that is...More
If you want a real "bandeja paisa", this is the place. 100% typical food. You won't forget their crispy, savoury "chicharrón", as well the "carne en polvo" (powder meat) and the red beans. This was a local business that became famous for its quality and...More
If you want to eat great local food you should visit El Trifásico. My only suggestion is to order the junior dishes because the sizes are huge! I've never been able to finish a whole dish.

I was told this was the best place to go in Medellin for chicharron. I enjoy a nice plate of chicharron with a fresh garden salad and side of delicious avocado. Would return again. Also purchased some fresh bing cherries from a side walk vendor.
