Great place for a traditional pub lunch. Food was great but make sure you book in advance to avoid disappointment because it’s usually pretty difficult to get a table.

First visit ever! Easy to find and ample car parking to the rear. On entering, felt like I had stepped back in time. Very quaint with homely rustic feel. Tables are sporadic to accommodate space but we were seated in a great table big enough...More

It had been a while since I'd been to the Red Lion, shared herring as a starter which was delicious and nicely presented, then had the Lamb Rump from the Specials' Menu, it was an enormous portion but delicious. Staff, as always, were friendly, welcoming...More

A nice relaxed friendly atmosphere and great steak pies. The pate of the day with oatcakes was lovely for a starter. Good portion sizes and reasonably priced. We will be back.
