Very cosy atmosphere when we arrived, with all the fires lit, which was lovely given the snow and cold outside. Staff were very welcoming and showed us to our table for 6 adults and 2 kids (2 and 5 yrs). There was only one couple in the restaurant when we went in, but by the time we left about 90... More

Tried to get table on Sunday without a booking, no chance! Booked for the Monday nightas we were staying locally for a week.First impression was that it was much quieter. Secondly the staff were very welcoming and the surroundings are very traditional. Home made wholesome food mainly pies and sausage based. Vegetarian choices are available. Found the apple crumble and... More

Very disappointed although we have been here before with no complaint at all as it was excellent. Plumped for the three course and had prawn cocktail starter, only they weren't prawns they were shrimps and dry, as if they had been made earlier. The steaks were very gristly and tough apart from a patch in the middle of each steak.... More

A lovely atmosphere , the steak deal is a must if you love steak the best in Fife. Three course meal at an amazing price. Busy little pub. Only one quibble the dessert ( crumble ) was cold and a little bit stodgy. Other than that we will defiantly be back.

We stopped at the Red Lion Inn for lunch whilst on a days walking trip along the forth. Great menu, friendly service and lovely atmosphere. If you want a hearty feed I would thoroughly recommend the ploughman lunch, soup of the day was Stilton and broccoli which was delicious served with large slices of crusty bread and cheese along with... I just wanted to say how impressed with the staff that served us on Saturday when we went for a meal with my family for my mother in laws birthday. In fact my mother in law visited twice in two days. The location was lovely and we took some lovely photos of the river- we will definitely return on a... More

Culross its self is a lovely place with a few shops and one pub. The one pub is the most lovely place, the menu is extremely varied and there is defiantly something for everyone. The meals are extremely tasty and good value for money. Id recommend eating here if your ever in town.

I have been going to The Red Lion in Culross for several years! It's set in the beautiful village of Culross which is well worth looking round! It has been used as a film set for many films! The Red Lion is a locally owned pub, not one of the dreadful multiple chain pub eateries! The food is cooked to... More
