Excellent food and service with free coffee top ups. Large prawns with jacket potato. Well cooked, non greasy quality breakfast. Will definitely visit here again.

Popped in for a family lunch. Café was very busy with some big groups that had just ordered so we were warned of a long wait. Staff were very accomodating with what they could get us quickly and were all very friendly and helpful. I high toy recommend the homity pie!

Ideal chintzy tea room with friendly staff and plenty of space for high chairs etc. food and drinks very nice after a nice walk at monsal head. Great cobs and sandwiches but the high light for me was the bread and butter pudding and a large jug of custard- enough for me to not only drown the pudding but to... More

We own a holiday cottage in the village and called in to Eyam tea room Thursday afternoon, it was so warm and cosy with the real fire, the food was delicious and the owners were lovely and friendly. So call in for a cuppa, a beer, cake, baguette, various hot meals....the list of homemade food on the menu fairly extensive... More

Before Christmas we bought a couple of raffle tickets to benefit a local cause and we WON! Afternoon tea for two! Well today we decided to go and have it and what... More

Thank you so much for the most delicious peanut and caramel slice yesterday. Served with hot coffee in front of fire was just what we needed. Cyclists discount even better. We will be back, thank you!

Ha! ha! the caramel and peanut butter slice is very popular with our cycling friends - hopefully giving you all that last burst of much needed energy for these hills! It has been cold lately and so the log burner is appreciated as is the' Lycra Discount'!! (i.e. cyclists normally wear lycra so they get the discount). see you soon... More

A really good tea shop with an excellent selection of sandwiches etc, delicious cakes and bright, clean decor. Very welcoming to all, including dogs who are offered their own biscuit! Unlike some cafes there is plenty of room for dogs and non dog people, so no one feels crowded out. Sitting outside in good weather, looking down over the village... More

We are glad that you like the fairly wide selection on our menu, and that you felt dog owners were comfortable bringing their dogs into our Tearooms- there is normally plenty of room for all as you said and we have never had any problems caused by dogs- except comical and excessive tail wagging sending things flying and people unable... Description
Eyam Tea Room is a licensed Tearoom and provides a good Home Cooking approach style aiming to meet a variety of tastes. We welcome groups both large and small. If possible to let us know that a large group is coming so that we can reserve your seats, or you may naturally have a longer wait for your food to be prepared and presented to you. We are dog friendly (dogs are welcome inside the Tearoom) and also welcome muddy boots as we provide boot covers to make access easier for you. We accept bookings from local groups to hold meetings at any time of day including evenings. We take bookings for Christening Teas, Hen Teas and Funerals as well as Birthday Teas all with an optional Vintage twist! Pre booking for school parties is requested and discussion of educational needs is encouraged, so we can meet individual requirements. Home cooked breakfasts, the larger 'Ramblers', and the smaller 'Muddy Boots', are available all day (until we stop cooking lunches at 3pm) through the winter months), as part of the breakfast menu, light lunches and snacks, cakes and bakes are in ample supply. From the Ice Cream Parlour you can have Hope Valley Ice Cream pure and simple or exciting combinations of iced desserts. We also provide an extensive Gluten Free menu and also 'Take Out' option and welcome pre booked orders which can be collected. In the summer we are open from 9.30-4.30 with last orders for lunches and breakfasts at 3pm. last orders for all food and refreshments is 4pm, and later if we stay open later on nice days. We have slightly altered opening hours over the winter months. From the end of October to early March we are close on Mondays and Tuesdays and open at 9.30 am on Wednesday - Sunday closing at 4.30. Last orders the same as above. If you would like to make a party booking on any day we are closed please ring us and we will do our best to oblige. Our double room Bed and Breakfast with ensuite and its own entrance gives a welcome snug retreat for adventurers and is available every day all year round except for Christmas Eve to Boxing Day inclusive. We offer reward cards for regular customers
