A very different dining experience in the High Peak! Personally looked after by Stella in a warm friendly environment the ideal setting for West African/Caribbean cuisine. A lovely occasion. If you are looking for delicious food and something different this is for you!

Ate here for lunch on our trip to rethymnon and enjoyed the food. A small but very tasty selection. The staff were friendly and service was good. Would definitely recommend!

Stella greeted us with a big smile and a 'don't worry about being late' as we entered, and we proceeded to chat about our respective life stories throughout the evening. As we did, Stella served up excellent food, starting with puff puff (light and fluffy...More

A return trip to the Hope Valley legend that is Stella’s Kitchen. Sometimes, meeting a legend can be a disappointment but that’s certainly not the case with Stella; a wonderful cook, a fascinating background (see her web site) and - always - a big smile...More

What was good about this place: lovely tasty Afro Carribbean food and plenty of it, great views and a friendly entertaining hostess. What was less good: table setting lacked finesse: plastic tablecloths, mismatching crockery and paper napkins. Also, the music was annoying, it ranged from...More

Thank you for the comment. In fact it is a very positive comment and i will take it on board. I thought the table cloths being chickens, cows and sheep looks good in a farm house kitchen setting. Sorry about the music you should have...More
