We ate here in September 2012 and returned in September 2016; the food was great once again. This is a quaint, clean restaurant with friendly staff. The food was very good and fairly priced.

Our visit to La Blanche Hermine was a little disappointing. The restaurant was practically empty, and therefore lacked atmosphere - perhaps end of season. The food was rustic Breton, which would have been a welcome experience at a family home, but was not up to the standand I expect in a restaurant. The service however was friendly and helpful, and... Delicious, traditional Breton food, and hardly a crepe or galette in sight. Instead, the menu has soups, charcuterie, beef, chicken, seafood, and hearty flavoursome casseroles. The desserts include profiteroles, chocolate cake and delicious apple tarts. Apples and pears, specialities of Brittany, feature in many of the desserts. The restaurant has a good wine list and traditional Breton cider to accompany... More

We've eaten here a number of times and love it. Food is traditional and really tasty. The last time we ate a curried fish dish which was gorgeous and our daughter had steak which she said was the best she'd ever had! Try the flambéd apples. My husband always has these every time. Service is great. The waiter is friendly... More

Right by the famous church, this looked a bit touristy and over-priced from the outside, but both the food and service made this choice well worthwhile. The ambience is that of a traditional French restaurant, with local dishes and drinks on the menu. The dishes are authentic home cooking, with large servings. The waiter was very pleasant and helpful, negotiating... More

Having read the reviews on Tripadvisor we thought this would be a good option for lunch. The service was very good and my husband was given an English menu when it became obvious he did not speak any French. Perhaps we made a bad choice and other dishes were better, but though the onion soup was quite good but the... More

Very friendly with great food. Will keep this place in mind for next time we're in this area. We all tried different courses (6 of us) and all looked and tasted fantastic. Thank you for a lovely evening

When we travel we like to have a taste of the land. Very often that is not so easy because most restaurants tend to serve a bit of the same. Not here. Here you can have a taste of Brittanny. From local drinks, over local dishes and dessert, La Blanche Hermine has it all. The staff is most welcoming and... More

We dined here as they have a very unusual and interesting menu. The choice was good but the food a little disappointing - lacking in flavour and with rather plain vegetables. On the plus side the food is all home cooked - including the chips accompanying the 'menu enfant'. They have a good choice of local beers and the service... More
