A wonderful tavern right on the quayside, with fresh fish, good pies and very welcoming hosts. We had fresh red mullet, which was delicious, sardines and a lovely light spinach pie. The food is fresh and the location idyllic, on Greece's only "fjord"! Well worth the 30 minute drive from Monemvasia.

Right next to the sea, great fresh fish and even better homemade local pies. Lovely wine. Good service. What I missed was a treat at the end of our meal, which usually comes with the bill. Something very common in Greece and especially if you are with children. What a shame :-(

The food at Taverna To Remetzko turned out to be wonderful, the fish was very tasty and nice and the restaurant garden at the sea is a fantastic place to sit and enjoy your meal. The service was competent, friendly and could answer all our questions concerning the fish. Additionally Port of Gerakas is a small city which was not... More

After more than one year and several tavernas later we think To Remetzo is one of the best, may be the best! (In our part of our country we are rather humiliate). Very well prepared dishes, very good and fresh fish. Great service, smiling, helpfull! Thanks for a very nice evening, Vibeke and Tasos!

This very small tevarna located at the beautiful Geraka bay offer a unique experience. The area is of extreme beauty. The owner is doing his best to keep us satisfied. The fish was fresh and nicely cooked, the service good although full. The local pie is worth trying (called saitia). At the end they offered home made liqueur closing nicely... More

This taverna is a little off the track beyond the beaten track but well worth it. A magical harbourside location that gives the feeling of Greece before people like us all started going there! Lovely menu of fresh and home cooked produce. We had lovely horta, saitia (the delicious local spinach pie), tzatziki with the garlic turned up to 11... More
