Very nice restaurant, excellent reasonably priced menu, delicious food. One of the few places in Orbec opened on a Sunday. service a little slow mainly because it was busy.

Libre Hotel in Orbec is a convenient place to stay on the way home to the UK on a Sunday night and this restaurant again proved to be the only place open. After a lovely meal last year, we were a bit disappointed this time. The 26 Eur menu was more limited (just 2 dishes) and there were no carafes... More

Had a beautiful meal here, In March and early in the week there isn't much competition though. Friendly staff and a pleasant ambience.

being the only thing open in Orbec after 2000 hrs, it was a natural choice. Despite being "forced" to eat there, it was perfect experience, with great staff, fine, tasty and well-presented dishes, and giving the atmosphere of that small restaurant in a small town, where pretty much only the locals and lost travelers come. Pretty much a must when... More

Stopped off in Orbec en route from SW France to Calais in the budget Libre Hotel on a Sunday night. The receptionist told us there was nowhere open to eat on a Sunday, but luckily L'Orbecquoise on the main street was open. A very simple menu consisting of a 35 eur menu and a 26 eur menu, or you could... More

Comfortable restaurant near or B&B. Friendly service. Good food but not special - normal solid fare for France.

Having high expectations after reading Gault&Millau and tripadvisor comments,we were very disappointed. I can only describe the food as a home cooked meal; and not even a very good one. The starter, chèvre chaud, was served with warm melon, warm tomatoes and wilted salad. I suppose they just placed the dressed plate under the grill to heat the goats cheese,... More

We were staying in a small hotel with no restaurant about 5 mins drive away and chanced upon this delightful restaurant in Orbec. Very Normandy décor. Excellent menu -terrine de foie gras to start, magret de canard (perfectly cooked) for main with a variety of lovely veges and a superb cheese board. House wine was good. Between first and second...
