This restaurant is our favorite nice meal to experience while visiting Northern Ireland. The food is exquisite. The prices are fair. The atmosphere is lovely. The service is kind. We came at 5:30pm and that was awesome because they had a starter and entree deal for 10 pound with a 3pound glass of wine. Great deal. On top of that,... More

Myself and my husband credit the vines with having one of the best Caesar salads locally and it didn't disappoint again. Starters and mains both lovely, great service, friendly staff and good value for money .

Just had an early dinner at the Vines with my dad. We chose from the early bird menu...2 courses for £10 which which excellent value. The service was faultless and the atmosphere was very good for a tuesday night in county derry village restaurant !! Will definitely be back . Keep up the high standards.

We went to The Vines last night after our sons graduation. We were a party of 10. On our arrival we were delighted with our arranged seating and it was lovely to see a few decorations up for my son. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their meal and to say that the attention we received was excellent would almost... More

We visited The Vines on 29th June 2013 with the Ulster Society for the Protection of the Countryside on our annual outing. We were a party of 42 and had pre booked our meals from a very extensive menu. These were served very quickly and without fuss. The food was of a very high standard, Everyone in the group agreed... We had a meal here on our tour of Ireland at the recommendation of our B & B. We turned up on a Saturday night without a reservation (though our B & B hostess did ring about 15 minutes beforehand). There was no difficulty in getting in - it was busy but not out of control. The servings are large,... More

Visited the vines before when it had just opened! So glad to see that it is still as good as ever, it's good to see a place being so consistant for so long as this rarely happens! Good varied menu and only a short wait, which is understandable on a busy Saturday night. Reasonable enough prices , although food worth... More

Had lunch today and can't fault the restaurant in any way. . . staff were excellent, quick service and very friendly. Beautiful decor . . Most importantly, the food was fantastic; good portions, reasonable price. . ; and for the fussier diners in my company, they were allowed to order off the evening menu to ensure they enjoyed their meal....
