Excellent carrot and coriander soup today and choice of bread! What a lovely atmosphere and great genuine decor - go see for yourself a little jewel in the countryside! I will be back, All the food looked lovely and the prices were very reasonable as well as a warm welcome and prompt service! The genuine artefacts around the walls kept... More

First visit to a lovely tea room and food was excellent lovely service and atmosphere was ideal ,this may sound weird but only criticism I have is we left smelling of cooked food ( a ventilation issue ) methinks :) I would be happy to return to get an Ulster fry the sausage was very tasty .

Located in a rural setting, the Duck Pond Tea Room actually does have a small duck pond. We visit regularly for the coffee and cake - their victoria sponge is to die for.

This eatery is close to a main road but it's well hidden from view. We enjoyed some very good scones and good-sized cups of quality coffee. Staff were pleasant and efficient. In my view, the rating could readily move up a grade if a few simple improvements were made. The restaurant was a bit on the cold side, even though... More

I have been a number of times to The Duck Pond Tea Room I have never been disappointed. The food is excellent staff are friendly and efficient. The afternoon tea for two is excellent value and delicious. The Victoria sponge cake my mouth is watering at the very thought of it. This is a spot not to be missed

We went on a Saturday to try somewhere different. Both meals were fine. I chose the granary bread for my soup and a sandwish and let them choose the filling. The resulting sandwich went very well with a tasty bowl of soup. The menu is brief, but there is enough. It is not an easy place to spot unless you... More

Its such a charming little tea room in a rural setting with friendly staff. The menu isn't very extensive but there's something for everyone with attention to detail when it comes to presentation and good portion sizes. Scrumptious food with delectable home baked goodies...such a treat :)

I have been at The Duck Pond many times, and always go back to my favourite.... Toasted bagel, with scrambled egg and delicious bacon. The quality of the food is excellent and although a little more expensive that other places it feels that little bit "more special" which makes up for it. For children there is the excitement of feeding... More

Great wee spot I have passed a hundred times not knowing it was there. A friend brought me for a fry. I was so pleased to have found a new place to call and surprised how many people were hidden away inside. The decor is warm and homely, friendly staff and Suki tea is served here which I really like.... More

Went for lunch with my daughter and her two children. The menu goes to some lengths to consider children. The atmosphere was comfortable and quiet and the food plentiful and delicious. Will definitely go again.
