We enjoyed the food, the ambiance and the service. In fact we enjoyed our initial experience so much we went back for lunch the next day to enjoy the brunch. Don't miss the bonafi pie (did I spell that right? - don't worry, they'll know what you are asking for.) The loaded chips are delicious as an appetizer but so... More

The music was great. The atmosphere was nice, although we had "loud talkers" near us at two different tables and times while we were eating, which made it hard to talk to each other. I'm not sure what could have been done about the other customer's loud talking, so we did not mention it to anyone. The Fish & Chips... More

been here a number of times mostly on Tuesday for music which is typical irish traditional material and pretty well performed... large selection of menu items... anything with bacon is really good... last night's "pot roast hamburger special" was excellent ... sweet potato fries are beyond great but, unfortunately, unless you're a munching machine they cool off pretty quickly and... We went for dinner Saturday night, being the holiday weekend and being Irish myself it was fitting. We started with the Drunken Clams, which are beer steamed and plentiful. The house menu covers fine Irish fare along with American favorites. I ordered a steak in mustard sauce off the daily specials, it was wonderful (I'm picky about my steaks). My... More

The menu is authentic, the drinks well-poured, and the variety of beer outstanding---nothing like a cold Guinness. The menu includes many "Irish" dishes like beef stew, lamb shepherds pie, bangers and mash, fish and chips, and many other choices including burgers. The Shepherd's Pie was good but a little light on the root vegetables---only had peas. The place is casual... More

Great place for a casual night out! The Baked Aged Irish Cheddar was delicious, everything on the menu was a guilty pleasure. Don't go here if you are on a diet - this is a place to EAT! Service is great, they don't rush you at all even though its crowded. Good to sit down or just stay at the... More

We stopped in for an early dinner after a busy day. It was already quite busy, and many people there seemed like regulars. There is a decent choice of wines by the glass and my partner was happy with the beer list. I had the Shannon salad topped with scallops and bacon. My partner had the Shepherds' Pie. The food... If you love food, fun, and a casual atmosphere, this restaurant is the place for you. From Prime Rib and steaks, to bangers and mash or Reuben sandwiches to imaginative salads, St. Stephen's has it all. My hubby usually chooses the Same Old Thing when we eat out, but here he can't wait to try another item on the menu.... More
